Information we collect
Account information is handled through Clerk. The service stores account identifiers, plan information, payment references and usage records in Neon. Contact messages include your name, email and the message you submit.
How we use it
We use these details to authenticate accounts, provide purchased access, track included usage, respond to support requests and prevent abuse. We do not use payment card details to generate captions.
Payments
Payments and payment authentication are handled by Razorpay. Ibda stores payment and subscription references and their status. Card credentials are handled by the payment provider rather than stored in our application database.
Audio processing
When enabled, the cloud extension sends selected audio through our server to our speech recognition provider for transcription, and caption text to our translation provider when you request a translated caption track. Our application does not keep the audio file after processing. It stores the timed caption result and a usage record; you can delete the saved result, while the usage record remains for plan accounting. The current providers are listed under service providers. Review this policy before submitting sensitive media.
Service providers
Clerk supplies authentication, Neon supplies the application database, Razorpay supplies payment processing, Deepgram supplies speech recognition, Google supplies caption translation, and Vercel hosts and serves the website. Each provider processes data under its own applicable terms and privacy policies. This list will be kept current as providers change.
Cookies and local storage
Authentication may use cookies or browser storage to maintain a session. We have not added advertising trackers to this website. Any future optional analytics or advertising tools will be described before being enabled.
Retention and security
We keep account, billing and support records as needed to provide the service and satisfy applicable obligations. Access to secrets and database credentials is restricted to the server. No security measure is a guarantee against all risks.
Your choices
Where applicable, you may request access, correction or deletion of your personal information through the contact page. Some financial records may need to be retained for legal or accounting requirements.
Children and policy updates
The service is intended for people legally able to create an account and purchase a plan. Material changes to this policy will be communicated through the website.
